The Wellness 68% Principles for Manifesting Wellness.

There is a wellness epidemic - failing to achieve successful wellness goals is a major problem.  Throughout the world, there are negative wellness trends, such as increasing incidence of diabetes, obesity, lack of exercise, and more. Why?

Achieving successful wellness results is a very difficult challenge, and most people fail at some point in their process.

The results across studies show similar results: wellness/fitness/weight loss goals are not met by 50%, 75% or more of the people, despite the enormous range of professional guidance and programs.

Something is clearly missing in how the wellness programs connect with the way we actually think and live.

Why is Manifest Wellness 68 different from

other techniques for wellness and personal change?

My 50-year career was in communications and behavioral research. I've applied the same analytical methods to look at the influences and triggers of behavioral change success. I was not just a researcher; I tried many of the same programs and read the same books. I looked at what's going on around me to identify the common ingredients that lead to the success or failure of people achieving their wellness goals.

The biggest disconnect in achievement programs, and particularly wellness, is one foundational issue— are your thoughts, intentions, and action about wellness connected to what you truly believe you can do?

Aha!  The missing steps in wellness programs have been the incomplete tools to manage where goals originate — in our minds and thoughts that guide our choices and actions.

Wellness programs recognize that most obstacles, aside from physical limitations, are our emotional and mindset barriers. The basic message — you have to convince your mind before your mind can energize your body to do the work and follow the regimen.

1.

You need to believe you can achieve your goal and not let negative thoughts dominate your wellness choices and actions. We all have fears, doubts, uncertainty, and setbacks. Wellness goals seem exceptionally sensitive to our negative thoughts because they are for ourselves and within our heads. Maintaining an exercise regimen or losing weight is a purely personal goal, so 100% of the pressure is self-induced – nobody else is responsible for our goal

2.

Modern science to the rescue! In recent years several psychology-based practices have been used successfully with wellness issues. Two of the most established are cognitive behavioral therapy and NLP (neural language programming) popularized as neural plasticity. Cognitive therapy helps people change their incorrect thoughts and beliefs that affect choices and behavior. Neural plasticity is the recent discovery that people of any age can literally "rewire their brain," to change the way they think and process information. Wellness 68 uses the same principles to help change, or rewire, the way you think about your goals.

3.

Thoughts come first. Every wellness practice acknowledges that we have to overcome discouragement about progress.

But physical feedback is just one of the critical measures— sort of the chicken and the egg question — do we need to see physical success before we believe it, or do we need to believe in physical success before we can achieve it?

We need two types of progress reports- the physical and the emotional/belief. How you think and feel about your wellness goals: positive, negative, frustrated, optimistic, can determine how successfully you transform your thoughts into your actions.

The W68 program includes the Wellness Thoughts Scorecard to help you manage your thoughts and feelings on a regular basis and track the progress.

We have to work to replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts in our self-talk. The Manifestation Formula Thoughts Scorecard is a worksheet to monitor your thoughts about your goal and watch your progress.

4.

Wellness 68 is the connection that can help other wellness/health programs work more successfully for you. The Wellness 68 method is not a new way to lose weight, quit smoking, or achieve emotional calmness; there are professional programs for health and wellness issues. W68 was designed for one purpose — to help you achieve greater awareness of and ability to manage your thoughts, beliefs, and motivations to achieve your health and wellness goals.

5.

It's extraordinarily difficult to change your choices and actions if you don't know, let alone control, the types of thoughts you are having about your goal.

It's been said many times, in many ways, change your thoughts, change your results. Practical philosophers saw the simple truth of human behavior:

•    Henry Ford — "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't – you're right," emphasizes how much attitude determines success or failure.

•    Willie Nelson — "replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts, and you will have positive outcomes."

6.

The Manifestation Formula technique can easily be applied to fit wellness plans, and how we talk to ourselves about our goals to lose weight, become more physically fit, live a healthy lifestyle or break a bad habit.

We can't promise that Wellness 68 will work for every wellness goal and technique.  But Wellness 68 should be easily connected to most programs. Wellness programs recommend that you should follow the acknowledged principles of positive attitudes, motivation, discipline, and to do so you need a guide to the foundation of your thoughts.
